EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Department of Parks and Recreation requests $990 in additional spending with American Tennis Courts. Council approved an expenditure of $31,274.50 with American Tennis Courts on July 9, 2018 for completion of tennis and basketball court repairs at Meadow Lane Park. The additional $990 will allow pickle ball lines to be painted on the tennis courts; funding will come from the 2018 bond fund.
An email was sent to Council October 4, 2019 requesting Council’s approval to spend an additional $990 to paint pickle ball lines on the Meadow Lane Park tennis courts.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Town Attorney Recommendation: Town Council may approve the proposed expenditure of funds in its discretion.
