Staff recommendations for projects from the Maple Avenue Multimodal Study

BACKGROUND SUMMARY: The Town has tasked Kimley-Horn to conduct a multimodal transportation study of the Maple Avenue Corridor. This study will be coordinated with ongoing land use planning, redevelopment, and rezoning of properties in the Maple Avenue Commercial (MAC) Zone district. The purpose of this study will be to develop a set of near- and mid-term recommendations along Maple Avenue for all modes of transportation. Town Council discussed parameters of this study at a work session on November 5, 2018 and approved spending for this project at the January 7, 2019 Town Council meeting.
The project consisted of 3 phases as summarized below:
