EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year, the Town’s upcoming year operating budget is presented by the Town Manager and reviewed during work sessions by Town Council. This public hearing is requested to give Vienna residents an opportunity to provide public comment.
Strategic Plan Initiative: Vienna is a fiscally responsible community.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 13, 2020 regarding the fiscal year 2020-21 operating budget.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 13, 2020 regarding the fiscal year 2020-21 operating budget.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town Attorney recommends that a public hearing be set for public input on the proposed FY20-21 budget.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing for April 13, 2020 regarding the Fiscal Year 2020-21 operating budget, as presented.
