Request appropriation for annual audit contract with Robinson Farmer Cox Associates

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
In February 2015, the Town solicited RFP 15-04 for financial auditing services. The six-year contract with a three-year extension was awarded to Robinson Farmer Cox Associates at the April 13, 2015 Council meeting. Robinson Farmer Cox has indicated that its fees in fiscal year 2020-21 to audit fiscal year 2019-20 will be $47,000.
The Finance Department asks Town Council to authorize this expenditure for the sixth year of the contract.

Departmental Recommendation: Recommend authorization of the appropriation to Robinson Farmer Cox Associates PLLC for financial auditing services.
