EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
DPW requests approval to utilize Currie Heating and Cooling to install GPS units in Town buildings. GPS is an air purification system that fights pathogens, bacteria, mold, dust, and airborne viruses by enhancing indoor air quality. The GPS technology cleans the air by introducing ions into the space via airflow through the ventilation system. As of November 17, DPW is in the process of issuing a purchase order to have the work done. Vendor is aware the work must be completed by December 30 and has confirmed that it will be completed by the requested date.
