Title

Mashie Subdivision performance bond extension request

Body

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY

Michael Walker requests an extension of the performance bond for public improvements, in accordance with Vienna Code Sec. 17-65, associated with the subdivision known as the Mashie Drive Subdivision. On September 30, 2019, Town Council approved an extension to this bond, which is now set to expire in April 2021.  Development on this parcel is currently under construction. Since all remaining bonded public improvements are minor and will be completed with home construction, DPW recommends that the bond be extended for an additional 18 months so that the remainder of public improvements can be completed.
