Request approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Town of Vienna and Vienna Business Association for 2021 Oktoberfest.

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year an MOU is required between the Town and Vienna Business Association for the annual Oktoberfest. The Town of Vienna and Vienna Business Association are continuing this very popular Oktoberfest event on Church Street. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021.
The VBA agrees to operate Oktoberfest according to the regulations of the Governor of Virginia and recommendations of the Fairfax County Health Department and the CDC, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Departmental Recommendation: The parks and recreation director recommends approval of the MOU between the Town of Vienna and Vienna Business Association.
