EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
A proposed ordinance to amend Chapter 11 Personnel, Article 1, Section 11-3 and Chapter 11 Personnel, Article 3 Leave, Section 11- 10 L(1.) Leave of the Code of the Town of Vienna.
Proposal from a Councilmember to amend in the Town Code, the title of Economic Development Manager to Economic Development Director as well as change Public Information Officer to Public Information Director to be more on par with the area jurisdictions and to fully recognize their responsibilities and initiatives with this reclassification.
Update the Town Holidays in the Town Code to reflect the State and Federal Juneteenth Holiday and Town of Vienna Liberty Amendments Day on June 19 from the previous holiday called Liberty Amendments Day on the third Monday in July. The proposed amendments have been advertised in accordance with the Town Charter.
