Request to adopt 2023 Town Council meeting schedule for inclusion in the 2023 Town calendar.

EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Staff requests Vienna Town Council’s approval of its 2023 regular meeting and work session schedule, as required by Town Code, for inclusion in the printed 2023 Town of Vienna calendar. The printed Town calendar includes meeting dates for Town Council and other boards and commissions along with Town events. The printed calendar is expected to be mailed to residents by mid-October.
The 2023 printed calendar will feature images of artwork by members of the Vienna Arts Society. A draft of the proposed Town Council meeting calendar is attached along with a working draft of the full 2023 Town of Vienna Calendar.

Public Information Office staff requests Council’s approval of the 2023 Vienna Town Council meeting schedule for inclusion in the printed 2022 Town calendar.

Town Attorney Recommendation: Under the Town Charter Section 4.2, the Town Council shall meet at least once a month; and, pursuant to Town Code Section 2-14, the Town Council Regular meetings shall be on the first and third Mondays of the each month, at 8:00pm, or at other times as the Council sets by resolution.
