EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Council met at the January 23, 2023 conference session to discuss how best to mitigate noise concerns generated from pickleball play at Glyndon Park. Staff presented results of the Neighborhood Resident Survey and the Pickleball Player Survey which identified scheduling options for reduced play. The preferred pickleball scheduling option for both the neighbors and the pickleball community is Monday & Wednesday from 8am to 8pm and Saturday from 8am to 5pm. Lights are not available Dec. 1 through February 28, impacting evening pickleball play. Pickleball will not be permitted for play at Glyndon Park on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
