EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
This project proposes to remove and replace approximately 3,500 linear feet of the existing asphalt trail with a concrete sidewalk along Park Street, S, from Maple Avenue, E, to Fardale Street, SE. The contract includes public engagement meetings to review and discuss project design with the community.
The Department of Public Works (DPW) requests approval to use Urban, Ltd. to provide engineering services for the survey and project design utilizing on-call contract RFP 19-01 in the amount of $146,000.

Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town has an on-call engineering services contract with Urban, LTD and the Town Council may approve the proposed expenditure of funds in its discretion.
