EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
Each year, the Town’s proposed operating budget for the coming fiscal year is presented by the Town Manager and reviewed during conference sessions by the Town Council. This public hearing is requested to give Vienna residents an opportunity to provide public comment.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 8, 2024 regarding the FY2024-25 operating budget.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend setting a public hearing for April 8, 2024 regarding the FY2024-25 operating budget.
Purchasing Recommendation: N/A
Town Attorney Recommendation: In accordance with the Virginia State Code and the Town Code, the Town Attorney recommends a Public Hearing be set to receive public input on the proposed FY2024/25 Town Budget.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council set a public hearing for April 8, 2024 regarding the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 operating budget, as presented.
