EXPLANATION AND SUMMARY:
The Department of Public Works requests award of IFB 19-07 to Stonebridge Civil Corporation in the amount of $178,275 (bid + 10% contingency).
Bids were received from six (6) vendors for the subject IFB. Stonebridge Civil Corporation, of Ashburn, VA submitted a bid with a total bid amount of $162,067.45. Stonebridge Civil Corporation has been determined to be a responsive and responsible bidder, and has met the IFB specifications.
Departmental Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Finance Recommendation: Recommend approval.
Purchasing Recommendation:
Town Attorney Recommendation: The Town has competitively bid the contract for the proposed Nutley Street sidewalk project, and Town Council may approve award of the contract and expenditure of funds to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in its discretion.
Town Manager's Recommendation: I recommend the Town Council award IFB 19-07 for a Nutley Street NW sidewalk project to Stonebridge Civil Corporation, as presented.
